According to Odaily, ApeChain, built by ApeCoin DAO, will now be able to support efficient and low-cost zero-knowledge proof verification. The blockchain's Jenkins testnet has integrated a modular protocol developed by Horizen Labs, zkVerify, optimized for zero-knowledge proof verification. This integration will allow developers to utilize zkVerify's zero-knowledge proof verification technology to optimize transaction processing and reduce proof verification costs by over 90%.

ApeChain was launched in February 2024 by the decentralized autonomous organization behind ApeCoin (APE), ApeCoin DAO. It uses ApeCoin as the ERC-20 governance and utility token within the APE ecosystem. The integration of zkVerify into ApeChain's infrastructure is a significant step towards enhancing the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of transactions within the APE ecosystem.
