According to PANews, Riot Platforms announced that the company mined 516 bitcoins in December 2024, marking a 4% increase from the previous month. Riot CEO Jason Les stated that the initial 400MW development phase at the Corsicana facility has completed all system installations and miner deployments. Despite the completion of installations, the company is implementing a gradual commissioning process to ensure the quality of power supply to the grid.
