Meet @rh_bdl, Scroll's DevRel (who spends days and nights building, but his fitness routine is the real MVP)! 🌟
What does building the open economy mean to you? "Enriched quality of life. Individuals from all walks of life will now have fairer access to thrive, compete, and collaborate in the open - helping them live life to the fullest".
If you were a soup, which one would you be? "Walmart's Lobster Bisque soup. I aspire to live a boujee life on a canned tuna budget" 🍜
If you could only eat one food during all of next year? "Chicken breast. Yes, so my MVP features are maintained" 💪
Favorite thing about Scroll? "The tech, the people and the culture. As controversial as opinions can get - it is truly an inspiration building together with this world class team. Everyone is hyper-focused in building a solution which strives to provide fair, equal access to everyone, everywhere at scale". ✨
What does building the open economy mean to you? "Building the open economy is about creating a decentralized foundation that allows businesses and developers to innovate freely. It’s about breaking down barriers, enabling permissionless collaboration, and empowering partners to unlock new opportunities in a fairer and more transparent ecosystem".
If you were a dish, which one would you be? "A pickle" 🥒
Which holiday character is your spirit animal? "Max from The Grinch! Loyal, resourceful, and always finding a way to get the job done, no matter how challenging the task - or the Grinch" 👀
If you could only eat one food during all of next year? "Burrito Bowl" 🌯
What's the most ridiculous fact you know? "Dogs can smell your feelings - like happiness or stress - because they can detect changes in your scent. They're basically emotional support detectives!"
NY resolutions status? "Ofc" (broken, naturally 😅)
What does building the open economy mean to you? "To me, building the open economy means creating a more accessible, permissionless space where anyone can build and participate. At Scroll, it’s about giving developers and businesses the tools to innovate without traditional barriers, and in my role, I get to help connect the right partners to make that vision a reality".
If you could only eat one food during all of next year? "Omani Goat BBQ" 🐐
What's the most ridiculous fact you know? "Octopuses have three hearts, and two of them stop beating when they swim" 🐙
This festive season, we'd like to introduce you to some of the folks building Scroll 🌟
First up, meet @_emjlin, our Head of DevRel who leads all things education and community!
What does building the open economy mean to you? "Having opportunities to collaborate, build, and also make money unhindered by geopolitical boundaries"
If Emily was an xmas dish she would be... "a ginger bread woman because I am a person lol. But seriously, maybe cause I'm spicy and warm!" 👩🍳
If you could only eat one food during all of next year, what would it be? "This Chinese tomato and eggs dish is my comfort food, but practically speaking if I wanted to survive the year probably Huel or some tech bro "complete nutrition" solution".
Most overused emoji? " 😅 cause I'm always asking for things last minute"
Favorite thing about Scroll? "The people! Really strong execution skills on a powerful long-term vision" ✨
NY resolutions status? "I always say I'm gonna eat better but I am weak to NY pizza" (aren't we all? 🍕)
