🕵️‍♂️ North Korean hacking group, Lazarus, is the prime suspect in the $4 million Bitcoin exploit suffered by Alex Lab, says the blockchain developer. The heist, which saw funds drained from Alex Lab's DeFi protocol, was traced back to three suspicious wallet addresses. The plot thickened as $13.7 million worth of the Stacks (STX) token was also exploited, with some funds frozen by exchanges. Despite the drama, Alex Lab assures users their smart contracts were never compromised. The company's ALEX token has taken a tumble, down 47% in the last month. No word yet on whether the hackers will take up Alex Lab's offer of a 10% bounty for the return of the stolen funds.
