Steadefi, a decentralized finance (DeFi) app, has suffered an exploit resulting in a loss of at least $334,000. The attacker gained access to the private key of the team's deployer wallet and performed OwnerOnly functions, draining all loanable funds. However, collateral held in vaults and not lent out remains secure. The hacker also stopped farming contracts, leaving users unable to withdraw their funds. Steadefi is currently attempting to negotiate with the hackers, offering 10% of the stolen funds as a bounty in return for the remaining 90%. This incident highlights the ongoing vulnerability of the DeFi space to bad actors.
