Ripple CTO, David Schwartz defends Craig Wright’s legal team’s arguments, contrary to his previous statement where he had criticized Wright. Schwartz stated that Wright can freely express himself in informal and non-public settings and that Craig’s claims of him being Satoshi in conversations do not fall into any category of speech that the government can prohibit or punish, as they are not fraud or defamatory. However, he also stated that when Wright makes similar claims to gain financial benefit by impersonating Satoshi, then that will be a case of fraudulent claims.
