According to the platform, it has turned into the launch partner of a community culture platform Anime Foundation spanning Web3 and Web2. It revealed this endeavor on its X account.

Animoca Brands Turns into the Launch Partner of the Anime Foundation

In addition to this, the company also published a blog post covering the respective development. It noted that the initiative takes into account MyAnimeList, San FranTokyo, Animoca Brands Japan, and Animoca Brands. The platform added that the collaboration will offer exclusive experiences and opportunities for fans and creators.

Moreover, it will reportedly provide breakthroughs for IP holders, studios, and manga and anime-inspired brands and projects worldwide. The strategic partnership comes after the JPY¥300M strategic investment of Animoca Brands Japan into MyAnimeList. MyAnimeList is the biggest manga and anime community database and site around the globe with 16M registered members.

Apart from that, Anime Foundation also intends to commence a strategic partnership with Mocaverse which is a marquee growth forum. It comprises an infrastructure layer dealing with PointFi, Reputation, Identity, and Account systems with interoperability while Animoca Brands seeds it. The strategic endeavor will reportedly leverage the recently unveiled Realm Network SDK of Metaverse for the launch of Anime ID.

According to the platform, Anime ID operates as a decentralized identifier as well as a reputation layer. It reportedly facilitates the Web3 ecosystem onboarding. Animoca pointed toward its intention to provide a bridge between the conventional manga and anime market and Web3 communities.
