There are two types of verification badges:
1. Black Checkmark: Official Binance accounts receive this badge.
2. Gold Checkmark: Influencers, media entities, organizations, and notable individuals are granted this badge.
Requirements for the Golden Verification Checkmark:
1. Credibility:
- Adhere to the Binance Square Community Management Guidelines and Binance Square Terms and Conditions.
- Binance Square reserves the right to potentially revoke verification status based on violation records.
2. Authenticity:
- Pass the Binance account verification process.
3. Activity:
- Be active with regular engagement and posts on Binance Square.
Specific Requirements for Different Account Types:
1. KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders):
- Own 30,000 or more followers on Binance Square.
- The account must be active, and additional verification may be requested.
- Alternatively, receive an invitation from the Binance Square team.
2. Media:
- Operate as a reputable media company actively covering news, blogs, reports, or analysis-based content.
- Additional information may be required for profile verification.
- Usernames cannot match company names until verification is complete.
3. Business/Organizations:
- Companies in crypto, Web 3, Fintech, or traditional tech fields.
- Agencies, funds, market analysis platforms, and aggregate trading platforms interested in sharing crypto updates on Square.
- Additional information may be requested for profile verification.
4. Projects:
- Only projects already listed on Binance qualify for the badge.
- Additional details may be needed for profile verification.
- Usernames cannot match project names until verification is complete.
Application Process:
1. KOLs:
- Eligibility is evaluated monthly.
- Creators meeting requirements (including 30,000 followers) receive the badge the following month.
- Maintain an active checkmark by avoiding violations and creating at least one article per week.
- Binance Square reviews checkmarks monthly.
2. Media, Business/Organizations, Projects:
- Apply by sending an official email to square@binance.com with the following information:
- Company name
- Binance UID
- Nature of business
- Website and social media accounts
- Point of Contact (Name, Email, Telegram ID, or other contact method)
