Rather than just tell you which strategy is best, I'll show you the strategy used by some of the best traders in crypto today. You might know some of them.
And yeah, feel free to share your strategy too in the comments section.
Let's take a masterclass from the following five traders:
Trader SZ
Trader XO
Hsaka
CrypNuevo
Tree of Alpha
Trading Strategy Of Trader SZ
If you have been following Trader SZ or have ever listened to any of his livestreams on YouTube, you'll notice that he's more of a price action trader.
SZ doesn't believe much in fundamentals. He simply trades based on proven action and level-to-level. A level is mapped out, and he plans his trade along that line.
Yes, he's wrong sometimes, but he's been one of the few traders who has made more right calls than wrong ones. He called the BTC to move up from 16k to 30k and had many throw sticks at him. At the end of the day, he was proved right.
SZ is often criticized for using wider stops. In a bear market where stops are being hunted by market makers, he has proven that his strategy works.
Trader XO: Price Action and Levels
"Range high, range low, midrange.". You will often hear those words in his stream. And you can read them when he tweets as well.
Like Trader SZ, XO is a price action and level-to-level trader. He often credits his trading prowess to SZ.
Unlike SZ, however, XO pays attention to micro and macro analysis. For example, his streams always start with a macro overview before looking at the Bitcoin chart or the chart of other crypto assets.
XO believes the markets will nuke one more time. If it does, that's when he will be buying. For example, he believes SOL will still drop to the $8 range. And one of the coins he's bullish on is GLMR.
Hsaka, The White Wolf
This anonymous figure holds much sway when opinions are considered. He doesn't predict tops or bottoms, but he has an impeccable ability to manifest.
You will often hear him tweet predictions of on-chain activities or even some macro events relating to crypto. When they happen, he quotes his previous tweets with the words: "I am manifesting". The man is good.
No, he doesn't give signals. At least, joy outrightly. But you can figure out what coin he is talking about when he tweets cryptic stuff. You just need to dig deep.
More often than not, he doesn't do anything when there's chaos in the markets. He waits for the "elephants to fight, then [he] picks up what was left". This is how he has outperformed 99% of the traders in crypto.
CrypNuevo - The Man Who Trades Wicks
CrypNuevo is one of the lesser known traders, yet one of the most accurate with his style.
He gives what you can call "signals", but he often says he's only sharing his trade ideas. He shares charts on Twitter, and makes short videos on YouTube as well.
From his charts, you can notice three things he always maps out: wicks to the upside, wicks to the downside, and 50% of each wick.
He is a firm believer that "every major wick will eventually get filled", and he's often right.
He has accurately predicted every move as BTC continues to range from 30k to 31k. This man is that good.
He also often pays attention to how markets react to different market opening times. Like the Asian market, the US market, and Europe. He often gets his predictions right.
Tree Of Alpha - Event Based Trader
This is one man with a very high PnL on Binance. He doesn't post traders, charts, or anything like that. He has his own news agency called Tree News.
However, when it comes to going big on high conviction plays, few traders do better than Tree.
For example, when Twitter changed it's logo to that of DOGE, Tree went big, buying DOGE. While many sold in the first few minutes, making a decent 10%, Tree held on till the next day, and he was able to make over $1.2 million from that trade alone. That's more money than some traders will make in 10 years.
Tree is a very good example of "waiting for the right moment and going in big"
Let's see what we can learn from these five profitable traders
Lessons We Can Learn From These Traders
As you have seen, all five are profitable, yet, they all have different trading styles. Different strategies and opinions, but they are winners. What does that teach us?
You can have a different strategy and still do well. Don't follow after the crowd
When you find a winning strategy, stick to it
It is fine to be wrong sometimes, just make sure to be right most of the time.
