ZachXBT has warned the crypto community against the LeaperFinance project launched on the Blast Network.
The tracker claims that the project was launched by a group of scammers who stole millions of dollars in the Magnate, Kokomo, Lendora, and Solfire heists.
In another post, ZachXBT warns against ZebraLending, a project launched on the Base network.
Cryptojacker ZachXBT warned the crypto community against LeaperFinance, a project recently launched on the Blast Network; ZachXBT stated that the project is "a scam that was launched by Magnate, Kokomo, Lendora," He warned that the project was launched by a group of scammers who "stole eight-figure sums from companies like Magnate, Kokomo, Lendora, Solfire and others.
ZachXBT also alleges that LeaperFinance funded the Blast address to the tune of $1 million from funds laundered from previous thefts. ZachXBT claims that LeaperFinance began adding liquidity to attract investors. ZachXBT also tracked the addresses involved in the transactions to get a clear picture of the flow of funds.
In addition, Bloodhound claims that the scammers manipulated the total value of the blockchain (TVL) to grow to seven digits before stealing users' funds. They also forged KYC documents and used low-level audit firms. ZachXBT warned the community against further actions by the group, stating, "It is now Base, #Solana , Scroll, Optimism, Arbitrum, #BTC , #Avalanche , among others, and they have started the scam," he warned.
X ZachXBT in a follow-up post warned the community of a possible scam related to ZebraLending on the Base network, which currently boasts a TVL of $311,000. Researchers advised investors to withdraw their assets immediately.
