What is Cellula?
Cellula is a fully on-chain artificial life simulation game. Players explore, cultivate, evolve, and collect unique Life forms in the game.
In this game, the rules of Conway's Game of Life are considered the genetic code of the Life forms, determining their forms and vitality.
Using the game's crafting table, players can freely create a variety of genetic sequences and give birth to their own on-chain Life forms.
These Life forms have unique appearances and properties, and exhibit diverse life forms.
The Ethereum block height serves as 'time' in the game, and each Life form will grow and evolve in the Ethereum space-time ecosystem,
just like how real-world aquatic organisms gradually adapt to life on land and eventually become amphibians.
However, the cycle of life always accompanies birth and death - when a Life form loses its vitality, it will die permanently on the chain, making way for the birth of new Life forms.

Log in to the Cellula game and connect your Metamask wallet.
Click on the "Obtain Cell" button to get the Cell.
Confirm the transaction in your Metamask wallet to receive your first Cell.
Congratulations! You now have your first Cell and can begin your journey in the Cellula world.

Cell is the basis of the game Cellula, which is a genetic fragment of a living organism in the world of Cellula.
Some Cells have strong vitality, while others are weak. Cells can be spliced
and synthesized into powerful Life forms on the crafting table according to certain rules.
Therefore, the higher the 'Cell count curve' rises,
the stronger the vitality of the Cells, and they will play a significant role in the subsequent process of synthesizing Life forms.
Which side would you choose?
There are 511 different forms of cells in the population, with 10 individuals per form, for a total amount of 5110 cells.
The cells have a 3x3 square shape which represents their appearance and contains their genetic form.
The cells can be observed through a microscope to monitor their movement and evolution.
The cells evolve continuously in a chain, never stopping, much like our quest for answers to the ultimate questions of life, the universe, and everything.

Step 2: Synthesizing the First Artificial Life on the "Crafting table"

Life is a type of fully on-chain artificial life that is created through the combination of 2 to 9 Cells on the "Crafting table". You might be familiar with this concept!
Life has its own appearance and vitality, much like real-world organisms. They grow and evolve from birth (synthesis), with their vitality determined by the number of "active cell count" within their bodies.
When the number of "active cell count" reaches a certain threshold, they will autonomously evolve into various forms of living creatures.
Of course, the evolution of life is not only influenced by the number of "active cell count", but also by the environment in which they evolve. Different environments can affect their appearance (and even their abilities),
much like how fish evolved lungs, limbs, and more complex nervous and sensory organs when they moved onto land, becoming amphibians.
Click on the "Crafting table" and place 2-9 Cells in any configuration to create a "Cell count curve" graph that resembles a rocket taking off.

Step 3: Viewing Details of "Life"
Click on “Token ID 13” to view the details of the artificial life you synthesized. On the details page, you can see some important information, such as:
Cultivation Location: Air
This indicates that on the "Environment" page, I have chosen to cultivate the Life form in the ocean, resulting in the evolution of ocean-related characteristics. Of course, you can also freely choose evolutionary paths such as "Air" or "Ocean".
Status: Alive
This indicates that the Life form is alive. After being synthesized, Life forms will continue to evolve according to the rules of Conway's Game of Life. If a Life form has "live cells" within its body, it is considered alive; otherwise, it is officially declared dead on the chain.
Cell Count Curve
After Cells are combined to form a Life form, it will also evolve according to the rules of Conway's Game of Life.
During the evolutionary process, the number of "alive cell count" will change.
This graph shows the changes in the "alive cell count" of the Life form. As previously mentioned, when the "alive cell count" reaches 0,
it means that the Life form has officially died on the chain
Inheritance from parents
This indicates which Cells were used to synthesize the Life form.
Some Life forms may share similar appearances, but their parent Cells may be different.
This Life form was synthesized using TokenID 11 and TokenID 10 Cells.
This also highlights that in order to synthesize, cultivate, and evolve a Life form that can survive on the chain for a long time,
it is important to find Cells that exhibit a "Cell count curve" graph resembling a rocket taking off (or similar to TokenID 10),
and to continuously experiment with different combinations to create your own Life form that can evolve into higher-level Life forms on the chain.
Evolution Avatar
After being synthesized, Life forms will evolve according to the rules of Conway's Game of Life. Based on the "alive cell count" of the Life form of the current generation,
its appearance will change as the block height on the blockchain increases.
This section will record the evolutionary history of a Life form, including its progression or regression over time.
