According to Odaily, Web3 gaming organization Oh Gamers has announced a strategic investment of millions of dollars in the Web3 MMORPG game Space Nation. Unlike conventional token investments, this investment focuses on game assets and ecosystem development. Space Nation is a Web3 space opera-themed MMORPG developed by experienced industry professionals, including Jerome Wu, the project manager of Blizzard's renowned MMORPG World of Warcraft, and Hollywood director Roland Emmerich. The game aims to build a complex and sustainable gaming economy within the Web3 framework.

Oh Gamers CEO Roy Ding stated, 'We believe Space Nation will be a revolutionary phenomenon in Web3 gaming. Players willing to pay for high-quality game content and emotional value are already forming a significant market. By investing in Space Nation through token investments and game asset allocation, Oh Gamers will provide comprehensive support for Space Nation within our upcoming product matrix, including GamerID, OhGamers Market, and TapDap. We expect to bring over 100,000 real players to Space Nation in Q3 and Q4 of 2024. Oh Gamers is committed to selecting quality games for players and aims to bridge traditional gamers into the Web3 gaming space, redefining the role of Web3 gamers together with the players.'

Previously, Oh Gamers secured $3 million in angel investment from Axia8 Ventures and several angel investors.
