According to BlockBeats, two individuals involved in the Forcount cryptocurrency Ponzi scheme have pleaded guilty in a New York court. On July 22, 2024, at the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, Antonia Perez Hernandez and Nestor Nunez admitted to charges of conspiracy to commit wire fraud related to the Forcount scam. Hernandez, Nunez, and others were accused of defrauding Spanish-speaking investors of $8.4 million between 2017 and 2021 by falsely promising high returns through cryptocurrency trading and mining with Forcount.

Among the five defendants indicted in 2022, Juan Tacuri has also pleaded guilty. Tacuri was one of the promoters who held seminars across the United States to persuade investors to join Forcount. As part of a June agreement with prosecutors, he agreed to forfeit approximately $4 million and properties purchased with victim funds.
