According to BlockBeats, Bryan Pellegrino, CEO of LayerZero, clarified on social media on May 6th that the 'Witch Self-Reporting' initiative is not aimed at individuals but at large-scale industrial witch farms. The focus of the report is on large-scale witches, not individual users. Previously, on May 4th, LayerZero officially announced that all witch users would be given a chance to self-report within the next 14 days. In return, they would receive an expected allocation of 15%.
If witch users do not self-report before the 14-day deadline (UTC time May 17th, 23:59:59), LayerZero will enter the following two stages: Stage 1: LayerZero will release a list of all identified witch usernames - those identified but who did not self-report will receive zero allocation. Stage 2: LayerZero will launch a reward program, where users can submit detailed reports about witch activities. Successful reports will result in witch users receiving zero allocation, while witch hunters will receive 10% of the expected allocation of the witch address.
