Notional Labs CEO: The real culprit behind Terra’s collapse is an unidentified attacker
Odaily reported that Notional Labs CEO Jacob Gadikian recently disclosed that the collapse of Terra and the de-pegging of UST were not solely caused by the project's founder Do Kwon. The real culprit behind this fraud case is an anonymous attacker who is still at large. Gadikian pointed out that the validator group was attacked at the time, and billions of people were manipulated for no reason. Gadikian also released a video demonstrating an attack on the Cosmos hub test network, which had the same effect as the so-called attack that caused the UST de-pegging. Other investigators agreed with Gadikian's statement, saying that during the de-pegging period, a large number of bot trading caused Terra to be unable to recover the USD peg of UST through its economic model, and the on-chain trading volume surged 6-fold.
