Crypto scams, hacks, and exploits saw a significant decline in December 2024, marking it as the month with the least losses for the year. CertiK reported $28.6 million in losses, a sharp drop from $63.8 million in November and $115.8 million in October. The major incidents included a $2.1 million exploit on DeFi platform GemPad and a $1 million breach on FEG's token bridge.
