According to CME’s “Fed Watch,” the probability of the Federal Reserve keeping interest rates unchanged in January 2025 is 89.3%, with a 10.7% chance of a 25 basis point rate cut. However, by March 2025, the odds of a rate cut increase, with a 43.7% probability of a cumulative 25 basis point cut and a 4.5% chance of a 50 basis point cut.
