According to Foresight News, Ethereum Foundation member Devansh Mehta announced the launch of an AI-based project funding prediction contest. Participants are required to predict the relative funding ratios between 1,023 project pairs using 2,387 training comparison data sets. This contest serves as a precursor to the official competition scheduled for the end of January, which will involve 4,303 Ethereum repositories and their dependent projects.
Devansh Mehta noted that Vitalik Buterin will sponsor the event with $20,000. The contributions from participants could potentially influence future funding methods for open-source projects and gain recognition from the community and Ethereum developers.
