Weโd like to address an issue concerning the token data for Pudgy Penguins (๐๐๐๐๐) on Binance Spot. Due to a delay in receiving updated information from our data provider, CoinMarketCap (๐๐๐), the projectโs market capitalization and fully diluted valuation (FDV) were not promptly refreshed following the tokenโs listing. Upon identifying this discrepancy, Binance immediately contacted CMC, which has since updated the relevant data.

While we rely on third-party platforms for certain data to enhance user experience, blockchain transparency ensures that on-chain data remains the most reliable source. As part of our commitment to fairness and user satisfaction, Binance has allocated 135,000,000 PENGU tokens for distribution to eligible users who traded PENGU between 2024-12-17 14:00 (UTC) and 2024-12-17 14:37 (UTC). This airdrop will be credited to eligible usersโ master accounts within 72 hours.

Snapshot Period: 2024-12-17 14:00 (UTC) to 2024-12-17 14:37 (UTC)
Eligibility: Users who purchased PENGU on Binance Spot during the snapshot period, excluding market makers and VIP 4โ9 users.
Distribution Formula: Airdropped tokens will be allocated proportionally based on each userโs PENGU spot purchase volume during the snapshot period.
For instance, if User A purchased 10 PENGU at 14:10 (UTC) and later sold them at 14:47 (UTC), their share of the 135,000,000 PENGU airdrop will be calculated as follows:
(10 / Total PENGU purchased by all eligible users during the snapshot period) ร 135,000,000 PENGU
