According to Techcrunch, the US Bitcoin ATM giant Byte Federal suffered a data breach, and the personal information of about 58,000 users may have been stolen by hackers. The leaked information includes user names, addresses, phone numbers, government-issued IDs, social security numbers, transaction records and photos. The attack occurred on September 30, and the company discovered the problem on November 18. The reason was that a vulnerability in the third-party software GitLab was exploited.
