“Off The Grid” won Game of the Year at the 2024 GAM3 Awards in Manila. The Web3-enabled, free-to-play battle royale game also won for Best Shooter, Best Multiplayer, and Best Action Game. Developed by Gunzilla Games, the game integrates blockchain through the GUNZ blockchain and offers a player-driven economy with tradable in-game assets.
In its first five days, the game generated over one million wallets per day and 53 million transactions. Other winners included Parallel, Pixels, and Pirate Nation. The GAM3 Awards, in partnership with Yield Guild Games (YGG), recognized excellence across 21 categories and featured an increased prize pool of $5 million.
