A US judge said no to the SEC’s request to punish Elon Musk for not attending a court-ordered meeting about his $44 billion Twitter purchase. The judge, Jacqueline Scott Corley, said it was not necessary since Musk attended the meeting on October 3 and paid the SEC $2,923 for travel. The SEC said Musk broke their agreement from May.
