#WazirXHack – Something Doesn't Add Up
#WazirX has said that 45% of user funds were stolen in the hack, and 55% are safe. But here's where it gets confusing:
Affidavit Details:
➡️ Total User Balance (18th July): $570 Million
➡️ Total Crypto Stolen: $234 Million
When you do the math, that’s 41% of funds stolen, which means 59% should still be safe. But WazirX claims only 55% are safe. 🤔
What’s going on here? Can the @WazirXIndia & @NischalShetty team explain this?
Also, the first blog post said 42% of assets were affected, but that number was later changed to 45%. 🧐
