Shiba Inu Team Launches BONE Meme Coin Card Payments On Shibarium

The Shiba Inu team celebrates another milestone by adding a new payment mechanism to Shibarium. The team is celebrating the arrival of card payments for BONE transactions on the Ethereum Layer 2 network, making it simpler for investors to join the Shiba Inu community.

Credit Card BONE Token Purchase

LUCIE, Shiba Inu marketing head, announced a big Shibarium ecosystem expansion on X (previously Twitter). Investors may now use cards to acquire BONE, the utility token for the Shibarium Layer 2 network, according to the article.

This means Shibarium users no longer have to bridge to acquire their BONE tokens. They may now acquire the currency directly and utilize it for Ethereum Layer 2 transactions.

Many community members praised the Shiba Inu team for their statement. The service is already used by community members. The forum member @sand_ShibArmy uploaded a screenshot of a card-purchased BONE token transaction.

Successfully tested, simple, quick, affordable! Faster and cheaper than metamask eth! Use #Shibarium to load your $bone! Why wait, #ShibArmy? The finest onramp!” Post X read.

Shiba Inu's Adopted Shibarium

Despite the recent improvement, the Shibarium network has struggled with uptake. With $1.25 million in Total Value Locked (TVL), it is one of the weakest Ethereum Layer 2 networks. Arbitrum and Polygon have hundreds of millions and billions.

Major metrics continue to fall. For instance, daily active accounts dropped to 87 wallets. Shibarium has just 768 daily transactions, compared to its rivals' hundreds of thousands.

Daily contract deployments average 2, indicating that developers have little interest in this blockchain. As of writing, new blocks created dropped below 6,000, down over 60%.

The new construction has not improved prices. BONE is down about 3% in the past day to $0.4178, putting its fully diluted market size at $104 million, according to CoinMarketCap.
