Kamala Harris, elected as vice president, has recently brought a former Binance manager onto her team. As a U.S. presidential candidate with an ambiguous stance on cryptocurrencies, Harris is gradually assembling her team. After appointing Tim Walz as vice president, she has now enlisted David Plouffe, who has previously worked with crypto companies like Binance and Alchemy Pay.

While Donald Trump is an ardent supporter of cryptocurrencies, Harris's silence on the matter persists. Alongside selecting Tim Walz, the governor of Minnesota, as her vice president, she has recruited David Plouffe, an ex-member of Binance's Global Advisory Board and a former assistant to Obama, as a strategy consultant. Plouffe recently served as a global strategic advisor to Alchemy Pay but left the company last week to join Harris's team.

Last month, Harris also brought Brian Nelson on board, the former deputy minister of financial intelligence and terrorism at the U.S. Treasury Department. Nelson played a role in the Treasury Department's case against Binance for money laundering and sanctions violations.

Harris's silence on cryptocurrencies has drawn criticism, especially after she skipped the Bitcoin Conference in Nashville, though some experts cite security concerns for her absence shortly after Biden's withdrawal. #Binance #MarketDownturn
