World of Goo was one of the early favorites of the indie game movement that began a decade and a half ago. Since then, developer 2D Boy initially stated that it would not be making a sequel. And for a long time, it didn't! The studio announced World of Goo 2 at the 2023 Game Awards, and in less than a year, it'll be hitting digital store shelves.
what we've seen so far is very similar to the original, and that's not a bad thing. More complex puzzles, disturbing experiences, addictive songs. However, it's possible that there could be some surprises in the game.
