Himachal News Himachal Pradesh Police has arrested the mastermind of Rs 2500 crore scam who was fleeing the country. Northern Range Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Abhishek Dhullar said that Milan Garg was allegedly involved in designing and marketing fake cryptocurrency. He fled to Dubai after the scam came to light. But returned to India in June.

Chargesheet filed against 70 people so far.

The main accused arrested include Hemraj, Sukhdev of Mandi and Arun Guleria and Abhishek of Una district of Himachal.

Police have arrested the mastermind from Kolkata. Himachal Police has arrested one of the masterminds of the Rs 2500 crore cryptocurrency scam that came to light in 2022 from Kolkata, officials said on Thursday.

He said that the accused Milan Garg (35), a resident of Meerut in Uttar Pradesh, was arrested from Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport in Kolkata on Wednesday night. He said that the mastermind was trying to flee to Thailand. Meanwhile, the police arrested him at the airport.
