Tether issues 1 billion USDT on TRON network (authorized but not yet issued)
On July 16, according to Whale Alert, Tether issued an additional 1 billion USDT on the Tron network at 4:26 this morning.
In response, Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino said that the 1 billion USDT was a supplement to the Tron network inventory. This is an authorized but unissued transaction, which means that this additional issuance will be used for the next issuance request and cross-chain exchange inventory.
