Consultant secures $500 million in FTX hack on personal hardware wallets!
During last year's FTX hack, consultant Kumanan Ramanathan used his personal Ledger Nano hardware wallet to protect between $400 and $500 million in FTX cryptocurrency
Ramanathan volunteered to transfer a large portion of the company's assets to his device after unusual withdrawals signaled vulnerability. Assets were stored on Ramanathan's device until FTX's crypto custodian, BitGo, had a cold storage wallet available. The exchange then partnered with BitGo, securing a total of more than $1.1 billion
==>Recently, FTX hackers have carried out significant asset movements by chain jumping to disguise the origin of the stolen funds.
