The individual who claimed to be Bitcoin's creator, Satoshi Nakamoto, has been defeated. The Bitcoin whitepaper has been successfully reinstated on the Bitcoin.org website, concluding the legal battle with Craig Wright, who previously asserted he was BTC's founder, Satoshi Nakamoto. In 2021, Wright's legal action led to the removal of the whitepaper PDF from the site, accusing the anonymous group Cøbra of copyright infringement. However, Wright's claims of being Satoshi were thoroughly debunked. Bitcoin.org administrator Hennadii Stepanov announced the whitepaper's return on the X platform.

Wright's lawsuit pressured Cøbra to reveal their identity in court, leading to a default judgment when Cøbra chose not to appear. Consequently, Cøbra was ordered to pay £35,000 ($40,100) in legal fees to Wright. This forced Bitcoin.org to cease offering the whitepaper to UK users. In protest, numerous publishers, including Square's cryptocurrency division and governments like the USA, Estonia, and Colombia, collectively shared the whitepaper on their platforms.
