BNBchain, which is developed by Binance, launched the Layer2 testnet with the name #opBNB
It anticipates that BNB Chain performance will be greatly optimized in terms of transaction processing and speed, as it is compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) running on the basis of #opBNB Optimistic Rollups technology.
In addition, it is aimed to double the number of transactions per second from 2,000 to 4,000, and to reduce fees from 0.109 to $0.005 per tx.
