**JUP Staking and Voting are live!**
You can now lock any amount of JUP to receive voting power, 1 JUP = 1 Voting Power point. (<https://vote.jup.ag/>)
Unlocking takes 30 days, but if you were planning to hold JUP - it's a great move, let me explain why.
By locking your JUP you are getting access to votes as it was being said already. Now they running a **testing voting in which you can participate until 7th of March**, after that they will have a real process to elect 2 projects that will be launching their tokens with LFG Launchpad.
**For both of these votings you will receive incentives, which includes launchpad fees from the JUP and WEN launch and upcoming fees from launchpad projects**
Those rewards won't be distributed immediately, there will be a vesting period 3-6 months but I can expect these rewards to be decent and it's absolutely no brainer to participate if you are holding your JUP anyway. Don't forget to click few buttons that can give you some free JUP
