According to Foresight News, US Senators Cynthia Lummis and Representative Patrick McHenry have written a letter urging President Biden not to veto the repeal of the Cryptocurrency Accounting Policy (SAB 121). They argue that the bipartisan voting results from both the Senate and the House of Representatives should be reason enough not to veto.

In a previous report by Foresight News, Cody Carbone, Chief Policy Officer of the cryptocurrency advocacy organization The Digital Chamber, tweeted that they had received confirmation that the resolution to overturn the Cryptocurrency Accounting Policy (SAB 121), H.J Res 109, was only sent to President Biden the previous night. This changes the 10-day deadline. Biden now has a time window until June 3 to decide whether to exercise his veto power on this resolution.
