According to Foresight News, the DePIN project MetaBlox has officially rebranded as Roam and migrated its ecosystem to the Solana mainnet. In addition, Roam will launch the ROAM governance token on the Solana blockchain. Roam currently has over 110,000 DePIN network nodes and 50,000 app users.
Roam team leader Nigel Nie stated that all on-chain transactions of the Roam network will be uploaded to the Solana blockchain, including user check-ins, DIDs (decentralized identifiers), and VCs (verifiable credentials) as core project data. This will provide privacy-protected 3W data support for DApps within the Solana ecosystem.
