Moonbeam uses a message passing system known as XCM, and it’s kind of a big deal.

Here’s why 👇

- XCM is secured by @Polkadot validators.

- XCM does not require a 3rd party bridge.

- Polkadot is the world’s largest DAO.

See where I’m going with this?

XCM is secure and decentralized, and most messages and transfers run through Moonbeam.

Currently, there are 40 Open HRMP channels for passing messages to and from Moonbeam, between 20 parachains.

👉 154,575 XCM Messages have been sent

👉 193,218 XCM Messages have been received.
