According to Odaily, Argentina is progressively updating its legal framework to incorporate new technologies and cryptocurrencies. Recently, the Argentine Ministry of Justice reported that a company has registered using cryptocurrency funds, marking the first such instance in the country. This follows the enactment of regulations allowing companies to use cryptocurrencies and digital assets for donations and startup capital.

The company was established with capital close to $500, equivalent to 0.00457621 BTC, with Bitcoin priced at $302.5 and USDC at $194.99 on the registration day. This process differs from conventional company registration methods. The cryptocurrency used must be transferred to custodial wallets of nationally registered exchanges like Lemon and Ripio and must be stored there.
