According to U.Today, the Solana-based meme cryptocurrency dogwifhat (WIF) has experienced an 11% surge over the past 24 hours, as reported by CoinGecko. This notable performance has allowed WIF to outperform every other cryptocurrency within the top 100. The meme coin has seen a significant increase of over 60% from its recent lows recorded just a few days ago. Despite this upward trend, WIF remains down by 49% from its all-time high recorded on March 31.

Cryptocurrency analyst Mister Crypto has observed that WIF is currently in the process of a breakout, suggesting that a new upward trend is beginning. In contrast, other top-performing cryptocurrencies such as THORChain (RUNE), Jupiter (JUP), and Bittensor (TAO) have not matched WIF's double-digit gains. Among major altcoins, only Ethereum (ETH) and Solana (SOL) are in the green, while Bitcoin (BTC) has seen a slight decline of 0.1% after stabilizing above the $65,000 level.

Within the meme coin sector, WIF stands out as the only cryptocurrency showing gains, while others have recorded losses. Shiba Inu (SHIB) has experienced an 8% drop, making it the top laggard among leading meme cryptocurrencies. Dogecoin (DOGE), the largest meme cryptocurrency by market cap, has also faced significant selling pressure, resulting in a 3% price drop. Meanwhile, Pepe (PEPE) has remained relatively stable with a minor 0.5% price decrease.
