CoinStats Security Incident Report: $2.2 million worth of crypto assets stolen from 1,590 wallets

According to ChainCatcher, CoinStats released the latest report on the security incident that occurred on June 22 due to unauthorized access to some infrastructure and third-party service providers. The report shows that the attacker managed to obtain the private keys of 1,590 CoinStats wallets, resulting in the theft of approximately $2.2 million worth of cryptocurrency. It is currently confirmed that no connected wallets or exchanges have been affected. As of July 3, 2024, all functions of CoinStats have been fully restored and are now fully operational. Currently, the investigation into the entire scope of the violation is still ongoing.
