David Fischer, the plant manager of a Marathon Digital mining site in Granbury, Texas, has been acquitted of 12 noise violations. The allegations claimed that the site operated at a noise level that could cause hearing loss. Over 40 people in the Granbury area have reported adverse medical conditions they believe are caused by noise from the site. However, Fischer's lawyers argued that the noise from Marathon's miners was not improper as it is a legal industrial site. Marathon plans to replace the majority of air-cooled containers with immersion cooling by the end of the year.
