Ethereum-ETF could receive approval by July 4
The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is anticipated to approve several Ethereum ETFs by July 4, according to a report by Reuters. Negotiations between asset managers and regulators are currently in their final phase.
Thus far, the commission has not provided comments on the anticipated launch dates. Earlier this month, SEC Chairman Gary Gensler indicated that the launch date would hinge on the responsiveness of issuers to the regulator's requests.
On May 23, the SEC approved Forms 19b-4 for ETFs, but trading will only commence after the regulator authorizes the Form S-1 filings.
