🚀🔍 Julian Assange's Bitcoin wallet got a whopping $500K from an anonymous donor, just as he was released from the UK's Belmarsh prison.

• The donation, 8.2 BTC, was transferred from a multisig wallet to Assange's Bitcoin address on freeassange.org.

• Assange's wife had been rallying for financial support to pay a $520K debt to the Australian government. The Bitcoin donation covered almost all of it!

• Assange is now a free man, back home in Australia after pleading guilty to one charge of espionage.

Who's the mystery donor? 🕵️‍♂️

Internet personality Andrew Tate hinted it might be him, but the Bitcoin community isn't convinced. Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey also subtly hinted at involvement.
