• Status (SNT) aims to build an "open-source, privacy-focused operations system for the Ethereum ecosystem".

  • Status uses the peer-to-peer protocol Whisper and end-to-end encryption to protect communication from third-party interference.

  • Besides the messenger, the project also provides a cryptocurrency wallet, which supports ERC-20 and some ERC-721 tokens along with a built-in web3 browser. The browser helps the public interact with decentralized applications on the Ethereum blockchain.

  • The SNT token is used as the payment method for all the services provided in the Status ecosystem.
